Crusaders

"Looking Unto Jesus"

Crusaders have been in existence in the Tullylish and Gilford area from 2000, through this time the number of Crusaders and leaders has increased which is pleasing for all those involved. Locally the organisation is a partnership between Gilford Church of Ireland, Tullylish Presbyterian and All Saints Tullylish.

The aim of Crusaders is to educate the youth of the area about Christianity and help build their faith and also to help existing Christians develop their faith in Jesus Christ. We aim to provide a comfortable. relaxed and fun environment where Crusaders feel at ease and look forward to meeting each week.

The organisation welcomes young people between eleven and eighteen at our weekly meetings which take place on Sundays from 7.00 to 8.30. We move between the Church halls of the three member Churches. Presently we have nine members in leader team and between twenty and twenty five Crusaders.

Our meetings usually consist of worship, prayer time, games, bible study and group discussions, we also have trips to youth rallies or bowling. For the past few years we have been to Killowen Outdoor Pursuits Centre.

If you are interested in joining us the chairperson of the group is Naomi Francey who can be contacted via email at nfrancey01@qub.ac.uk or the AST leader Peter Sinton can be contacted here
